Less, made honestly.
We do not coat natural surfaces, inflate them, or ask them to pretend. Microplastics come from synthetic fills and plastic coatings, Bergez keeps those off its surfaces.
What is natural varies. Grain, colour and texture differ from piece to piece. That variation is authenticity, not a flaw.
No plastic fibres.
No finishes that fake warmth or softness. Wool, sheepskin, leather, suede and wood are chosen for what they are, and for how they age.
Where a cushion uses a natural feather fill, it is stated on the product. We prefer clarity over absolute claims.

Responsibility, for us, is daily practice in a small atelier, not a separate department. The same hands that make the pieces answer when you write about care or repair.
