What materials does Bergez use?
Natural sheepskin, wool, leather and suede, with selected textiles where a piece asks for them. Untreated and undyed wherever the material allows.
We avoid plastic coatings and synthetic surface fibres. Where a cushion uses a natural feather fill, it is stated on the product.
Where are pieces made?
By hand in Belgium, at our atelier in Ruiselede.
Materials are chosen one by one for grain, weight and feel.
Are pieces unique?
Yes. Natural variations in grain, colour and texture mean no two pieces are identical.
Can I request a custom piece?
Often yes. Write to office@bergez.com with your idea.
We will tell you what is possible, timing and price before anything begins.
How do I care for my piece?
In short: air in shade, blot never rub, keep leather from water and harsh chemicals. Ask us before any deep treatment.
Shipping and returns?
We ship from Belgium across the EU, with tracking once the piece leaves the atelier.
