Nature creates.

We embrace.

Bergez is born from a simple conviction:
the most beautiful things already exist.
Our work is to find them and give them a home.

No Microplastics

released into the environment

No fake finishes

that pretend to be warmth or softness

No plastic fibres

that degrade over time

Responsible by nature

In a world of synthetic fills and plastic-coated fabrics, sheepskin is simply what it is.

No microplastics from plastic coatings.
No finishes that fake warmth or softness.
No plastic fibres that thin with time.

Sheepskin is breathable and insulating. It ages with use rather than wearing thin in the synthetic sense. Where a piece is especially gentle for sensitive households, we say so on the product.

This is not marketing. It is the nature of the material.

The woman behind Bergez

Christine Marie Bergez has spent her life working with wool, leather, and natural textiles. Not chasing trends, building things that last.

"I choose my fabrics, colours, and leathers by feeling, not formula. Each design begins with what moves me."

Born and rooted in Belgium, Christine founded Bergez as an answer to a market that produces too much, too fast, with too little care.

Every piece carries her eye, her standard, and her refusal to compromise on material quality.

Objects are not invented.
They are chosen.

Natural materials, honestly used

Bergez works with natural sheepskin, wool, leather, suede and wood, respecting each material’s original texture, warmth, weight and character.

Designed to age beautifully

Sheepskin is naturally breathable and insulating. Leather softens and develops a richer patina over time, while wool keeps its structure through years of use.

Every piece is naturally unique

Variations in grain, colour, and texture make every Bergez piece one of a kind. These natural differences are part of the material, not imperfections.

Made in Belgium.
By hand. To last.

Every piece goes through skilled hands from the first cut to the final stitch. No shortcuts. Just material, craft, and the time it takes to do things properly.
